João Paulo II University Library hosts "Echoes of Time" exhibition
In collaboration with Miguel Correia - Professor at the Lisbon School of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa - the João Paulo II University Library is hosting the exhibition Echoes of Time.
Miguel Correia, artist and curator of Echoes of Time, tells us that "human time is as fleeting as a breath. A sigh in the void. What remains most of our time are perhaps its echoes. Lost sounds that persist in hovering in the infinity of existence. A moment, a look, a feeling".
The exhibition offers a retrospective of Miguel Correia's work in three areas: painting, drawing and photography. These perspectives are united by time.
Echoes of Time is the artist's second solo exhibition. The first, "Structure / Dynamics", took place in 2006 at the Porto Regional Council of the Portuguese Bar Association.
This exhibition, which has already been to the Culture Center of the Tax and Customs Authority, will be at the João Paulo II University Library starting November 7 and it will be open until May 7, 2024.
