CATÓLICA-LISBON students are finalists for the FAE 2022 Case Study Award
Sofia Remtula, Juliana Nicole Aguiar and Frederica Anna Damerow are the three students from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics who are among the six finalists for the Best Case Study 2022 Award.
The prize, whose winner will be announced in early January 2023, is an annual initiative of the Fórum de Administradores e Gestores de Empresas, with Caixa Geral de Depósitos, which aims to distinguish the best business management cases.
The 3 students from Universidade Católica stood out among a dozen of applications from several schools in the country. Sofia Remtula presented the Case Study with the topic "Futah's international journey: a sunny future for a beach towel?, supervised by Nuno Guedes.
Juliana Nicole Aguiar, supervised by Nuno Cardeal, addressed the topic "Portuguese Unicorns: Where else to go but the U.S. A tale of two unicorns".
The student Frederica Anna Damerow focused on "Responsibility as an Opportunity: Enhancing Human Rights in Organizations as a Driver for Change - A Case Study on Sustainable Development", under the supervision of Nuno Moreira da Cruz.
The award aims to distinguish the best Management Cases of Portuguese or foreign companies present in Portugal that serve as a model of growth and/or innovation. The cases must highlight a management challenge of a society or group of companies, focusing on the creation of value and sustainability for the organisation.
