CATÓLICA-LISBON launches webpage celebrating 50 years of history
Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics has just launched a webpage to commemorate its 50 years of existence. A website that gathers testimonies of relevant personalities from the five decades of the School, who have accompanied its growth over the years.
“In the year that our CATÓLICA-LISBON community celebrates our 50th anniversary of pioneering management education in Portugal, I am pleased to launch our website 50 Years of Greatness, in which we trace historically our contributions to Portugal and to the global academic community, and we share inspiring thoughts and some ideas for the future", says Filipe Santos, Dean of Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics.
One of the stories already available on the recently launched website is that of Luís Caeiro, a professor who has been teaching at the school continuously for 50 years. "I was one of the professors who taught in the first year and witnessed the birth of this pioneering project," he says.
"Today we see a school with a huge international projection, a school where we are all proud to work. When I look back at the beginnings of this school, I feel that I have witnessed the growth of an organisation that has surprised me and continues to surprise me," he explains.
This commemorative page also contains a series of episodes entitled "Aha Moments", dedicated to moments of discovery in the lives and careers of CATÓLICA-LISBON academics.
