Católica dynamizes Seminar on Ethics and Artificial Intelligence in Health
What is AI and how should it be applied in clinical practice? What are the challenges and opportunities of Medical Education in the AI Era? These are some of the questions under debate at the seminar "Ethics and Artificial Intelligence in Health", which the Católica Medical School is organizing, together with the Institute of Bioethics (IB) and the Institute for Political Studies of Católica, on March 21.
The event, which takes place at the Sintra Campus of the Universidade Católica, brings together experts Joaquim Jorge, from Instituto Superior Técnico, Pedro Mateus, professor at the Católica Medical School, Manuela Escumalha, from Hospital da Luz, Mara de Sousa Freitas, director of the IB at the Universidade Católica, and William Hasselberger, from the Digital Ethics Lab of the Católica.
In this meeting, moderated by João Santos Pereira, Coordinator of Innovation at UCP, the speakers will reflect on the meaning, impact and use of Artificial Intelligence in the field of health care, as well as recognize the challenges and opportunities for the quality and integrity of training processes, research and practice of future health professionals.
