Applications for the “The European Union in my life” award

The European Documentation Center (EDC) at the headquarters of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in partnership with the Representation of the European Commission in Portugal, launches the contest “The European Union in my life”, aimed at all European students of the first cycle of the various teaching units who have an interest in European issues.

The application must be submitted via a form by 30 December 2022.

The jury, comprised of Professor Marília Lopes, PhD, (President), Professor Mónica Dias, PhD, and Professor Carlos Barros, PhD, will be responsible for evaluating and choosing the essays and works under the theme "The European Union in your life". Prizes will be awarded to the two essays/works that best meet the evaluation criteria stated in the regulations (PT) - critical reflection, thematic relevance, originality, problematisation, argumentation and clarity.

The winners will be awarded with a field trip to the European Institutions in Brussels and will be formally announced on February 17^th via the national EDC Facebook page and the Universidade Católica Portuguesa Headquarters EDC will also notify the winners by email.
