Ana Margarida Abrantes is a guest researcher at the University of Oslo

Ana Margarida Abrantes, professor at the Faculty of Human Sciences, UCP, visits the Centre for Studies in Literature, Cognition and Emotions at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Oslo, in August 2022.

During her stay, she was interviewed and shared a little about her research and her favourite reading experiences. Ana Margarida Abrantes raises the question: "If reading literature changes minds (and hearts), what are the consequences of categorizing literary texts in good or bad, as to the impact they may produce in whoever reads them? Adding to these two questions, one challenge: considering the fast changes in our reading ability (...), what role is still left to literature?"
