Inauguration of the Exhibition "¿De qué casa eres?"

The Universidade Católica Portuguesa inaugurates the exhibition "¿De qué casa eres?", by Ana Pérez-Quiroga, at the Fundação Amélia de Mello Gallery, at its headquarters in Lisbon, on April 18, at 6pm.

"The autobiographical project, which the artist began in 2016, and to which she is systematically adding new readings and presented here in its fourth part - or, in Ana Pérez-Quiroga’s words, its fourth episode - pays homage to the story of her mother, Ângela Petra," says Luísa Santos, curator of the exhibition.

The author's mother was one of the children sent to the Soviet Union during the Spanish Civil War. And who, as Luísa Santos explains, "could not return to their country of origin at the end of the Civil War."

The inauguration ceremony of this project is attended by Isabel Capeloa Gil, President of the Universidade Católica, and is open to the entire academic community.

Integrated in the Cultura@Católica programme, the exhibition counts with the support of the Amélia de Mello Foundation, Innovarisk, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Jopinto, Research Centre for Communication and Culture and the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia.
