The Bookshop of the Universidade Católica hosts the presentation of the book "Juízes Sociais" (Social Judges), written by Alfredo Nunes Afonso, on 26 April, at 6pm.

The event takes place at the Bookshop at the headquarters of the University in Lisbon.

On 16 November, the book "Lugares da afetividade e da sexualidade na configuração da identidade pessoal" ("Places of affectivity and sexuality in the configuration of personal identity"), by UCP Press, will be launched at the Bookshop of the Universidade Católica in Lisbon.

The UCP Bookshop is hosting the launch of the book ‘’Desafios da Ética na Investigação‘’ (Challenges in Research Ethics), a collective work that brings together 11 researchers, on 7 October at 17h30.

The presentation will be made by Isabel Capeloa Gil, President of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Mara de Sousa Freitas, President of the UCP Health Ethics Commission and Ana Mineiro, Director of the UCP Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing.

The Universidade Católica Portuguesa bookshop is organising the launch of the book, from UCP Editora`s Argumento collection, "O Conforto no Cuidar", on 18 November at 6pm.

The event will be presented by Américo Pereira ( Assistant Professor at FCH) and will be attended by Fr. José Manuel Pereira de Almeida (Vice Rector of UCP) and the author Patrícia Pontífice Sousa.

The UCP Bookshop is hosting the debate "Natural and Artificial: what boundaries?", with the participation of Carlos Fiolhais, Physicist and Alexandre Palma, Theologian, on 26 June at 18h00.

This debate, an initiative of CITER - Centre for Research in Theology and Studies of Religion with CRC - Centre for Christian Reflection, will be moderated and commented on by Maria José Roxo, Geographer.

On 4 April, at 6.30pm, the Universidade Católica Portuguesa will host the launch of the book "Egéria - A Peregrina da Terra Santa".

The event will be attended by Enrique Bermejo Cabrera, author and member of the Custody of the Holy Land, João Lourenço, coordinator of the book and member of the Franciscan Order, and Juan Ambrósio, professor at the Faculty of Theology of the Universidade Católica, who will moderate a debate on the Holy Land. 

The UCP Bookshop is hosting the launch of Armindo dos Santos Vaz's latest book, ‘Jesus, the Prayer and Master of Prayer’, on 10 April at 18:30. 

The presentation will be given by João Duarte Lourenço, Professor Emeritus of the Faculty of Theology and Teresa Messias, Professor of the Faculty of Theology.

The UCP Bookshop is organising the launch of the book ‘O que é que eu estou aqui a fazer’ - a book about God, Faith, Humour and Death, by João Francisco Gomes and Ricardo Araújo Pereira.

The presentation will take place at the UCP Bookshop on 10 December at 6pm, with the presence of the authors and Fr Miguel Cabedo e Vasconcelos.

The UCP Bookshop presents the second edition of the Textos Volantes competition organised by the Centre for Communication and Culture Studies (CECC) on November 20 at 6.30pm.

Nuno Amado (FLUL, CECC) will present the work that won this edition ,‘M.U.L.A Manifesto Universal do Livre Afincamento’, and Patrícia Anzini (CECC) will present the collection.

The author Sérgio Carvalho Coutinho will also be present.
