Campus Veritati

Welcome to the project of the future: Campus Veritati!

On 28 November 2019, Universidade Católica announced a new initiative: Campus Veritati, an extension of its Headquarters, the campus Palma de Cima.

The new campus, designed by architect Carrilho da Graça, composed of two buildings, will house the new facilities of the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, with more than double the school's current physical capacity, and a building with a Multifunctional Conference Centre. This latter will include an Innovation Centre - E-Lab and an auditorium that can be characterised as state of the art, with capacity for 700 people.

Embracing Sustainability: The Green Commitment of Campus Veritati

The new buildings within the Campus Veritati are designed with sustainability at their core, with plans to achieve LEED certification. This certification ensures that the buildings meet rigorous sustainability criteria, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and the use of eco-friendly materials. Features such as natural lighting, efficient insulation, and renewable energy sources will contribute to reducing the overall environmental impact of the campus.

This commitment to sustainable development aligns with Universidade Católica Portuguesa’s mission to contribute to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By creating an environment that prioritizes sustainability, the university not only enhances the quality of life for its students and staff but also demonstrates its dedication to fostering a more sustainable future for all. The Campus Veritati will serve as a model for integrating sustainability into higher education, encouraging innovation and collaboration in addressing global challenges.
