Students from Católica win 6th Worldwide Chinese-Portuguese Translation Competition

Hoi Sun Chin, Wan Teng Iong and Angelina Andrade de Aguiar, students from the Faculty of Human Sciences, Universidade Católica, under the supervision of Guanyu Cheng, won the Sixth World Chinese Portuguese Translation Competition in the category "Special Award for Higher Education Institutions in Portuguese Speaking Countries".

"This award is our learning process in Portuguese translation. It is a great encouragement for us, and we hope that everyone who is learning Portuguese can continue to move forward on this road and that together we can create a better future”, declared the students.

The Sixth World Chinese Portuguese Translation Competition is organized by the Education and Youth Development Bureau of the Macau SAR Government and the Macau Polytechnic University. This year, there were more than 100 entries from about 40 higher education institutions in Mainland China, Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries.
