CATÓLICA- LISBON renews international accreditation by AACSB

The AACSB - Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business has just officially confirmed the international accreditation of Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics for a new period of 5 years, following a rigorous assessment process.

As a reminder, CATÓLICA- LISBON was the first business school in Portugal to receive Triple Crown Accredited status in 2007, a distinction that only 1% of business schools worldwide have achieved to date.

The re-evaluation conducted by the AACSB, led by a team of deans from three reference schools, recognized that CATÓLICA- LISBON is a scientifically oriented school with high academic rigor, with a national and international faculty of excellence, invested in a personal and human relationship with its students, and with an important role in setting the national and international corporate agenda.

According to Filipe Santos, Dean of CATÓLICA- LISBON, "this renewal of AACSB accreditation for the maximum period of 5 years is very gratifying for us, as it is an external confirmation of the exceptional work of the School since 2005 to invest in internationalization and strengthen excellence in research and teaching. The school is now a strong attraction for the best national and international talents, launching successful careers and creating advanced knowledge in economics and management. This result is the culmination of an exceptional year of our 50th anniversary, in which we have improved in all international quality rankings".
