CATÓLICA-LISBON continues to rise in the Financial Times ranking and has the 26th Best Master's in Management in the World

The Master's programme in Management at Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, rose this year to 26th place in the world in the Financial Times Ranking. This is a rise of 19 places in the last two years and the best position ever.

CATÓLICA-LISBON continues to be recognised for its Master's in Management, which has achieved its best ever position since it was included in this ranking 13 years ago.

Among the various criteria that contribute to these results, such as the employability rate of over 90 per cent within three months of completing the master's degree, the high proportion of international professors (40 per cent) and students (93 per cent), as well as gender parity among students and professors, should be highlighted. This cultural diversity contributes to the enrichment of the learning and academic experience, with a wide range of perspectives in the classroom.

In this year's edition, Financial Times introduced an evaluation criterion related to the teaching for sustainability (ESG) rating, with CATÓLICA-LISBON achieving the best position in Portugal and TOP 30 worldwide. This criteria evaluates the proportion of teaching hours dedicated to ethics, social, environmental and good governance issues, reflecting the school's positioning and dedication to the theme of positive impact on society.

For Filipe Santos, Dean of Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, the placement in this ranking "is a validation of our strategy of standing out for the quality and rigour of our knowledge and learning, attracting the best teachers and students and currently being one of the best business schools in the world."

The Dean adds: "this result inspires us to do more and better to train a new generation of leaders capable of being agents of innovation and positive impact on companies and society. Doing a Master's programme at CATÓLICA-LISBON is the right choice and a passport to a successful and purposeful career."
