UCP Editora is presenting the book "O domínio decrescente do MPLA no sistema partidário em Angola (2008-2022)" by Carlos Pacatolo on 10 April at 17h30.

The event will be opened by Anabela Antunes and the book will be presented by Manuel Braga da Cruz.

The closing speech will be given by Augusto Aguiar-Branco and the author of the book, Carlos Pacatolo, will be thanked.

The Center for Responsible Business & Leadership at CATÓLICA-LISBON is organizing the 1st Research Symposium on Sustainable Development Goals in the Corporate Context, on June 1st, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

This conference aims to disseminate knowledge and share scientific research on the SDGs and business science. 

It is an opportunity for researchers residing in Portugal to share their studies and knowledge on the application of SDGs in the business context and to discuss ways to contribute to a more competitive and sustainable business sector and the advancement of science on sustainable development.

The book "Lições da Pandemia, Aprender com uma experiência limite" (Lessons of the Pandemic, Learning from a boundary experience) of the collection Povos e Culturas, coordinated by Américo Pereira and Fernando Ilharco, is launched on May 4, at 5:30 p.m. at the headquarters of Universidade Católica.

Isabel Capeloa Gil, Isabel Capeloa Gil, President of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, will present the book published by UCP Press. 

The event will also feature a round table with Admiral Gouveia e Melo, Head of the Navy, Ema Paulino, President of the National Association of Pharmacies, and Germano de Sousa, Director and Founder of the Germano de Sousa Clinical Pathology Laboratories Group.

UCP Editora is organising the launch of the latest book in the CECC's Communication and Culture Studies Collection, ‘A Rádio Ecclesia e a Relação com os Poderes Políticos’, by António Estêvão, on 14 November at 6.30pm.

This event will feature a presentation by Anabela Antunes, Director of UCP Editora and the participation of Nelson Ribeiro, Director of the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University, as well as the presence of the author, Frei António Estêvão.

The Center for Responsible Business & Leadership (CATÓLICA-LISBON), is organising the workshop ‘Implementing the SDGs in Foundation Strategies’ on March 11 and 12.

This workshop aims to enable foundations to develop a personalised plan for implementing and communicating sustainability and the SDGs in their strategy.

The book "O culto de Nossa Senhora da Nazaré: perspetiva multidisciplinar" (The cult of Our Lady of Nazaré: a multidisciplinary perspective), published by Universidade Católica Editora (UCE) and coordinated by Pedro Penteado, researcher at the Centre of Religious History Studies (CEHR), Universidade Católica, will be presented on 28 January 2023, at the Nazaré Municipal Library.

This initiative is co-organised by the CEHR, the Research Centre on Peoples and Cultures and the UCE.

Universidade Católica Editora will launch the book Smarter Cities Portugal on September 21, at 6:00 pm.

The event will be attended by Isabel Capeloa Gil, Rector of the UCP, and the Secretary of State for Digitization and Administrative Modernization Mário Campolargo and will take place in the exhibition room of the Library Building.
