T4EU Science Café ‘Is War Reparabale (by Culture)?’

The Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) and Transform4Europe (T4EU) are holding the first edition of the Science Café on June 25 at 2:30 p.m. (WEST) in Auditorium 3 of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon.

‘Is War Reparabale (by Culture)?’ is the question being debated by Christiane Solte-Gresser, Director of the Käte Hamburger Research Centre for Cultural Practices of Reparation (CURE) at the University of Saarland, and Isabel Capeloa Gil, President of UCP and Full Professor of Culture Studies.

The event is free to attend, subject to registration, and is part of the XIV Lisbon Summer School for the Study of Culture, centred on the theme ‘Culture at War’. It will be broadcast live on YouTube.

UCP discute papel da cultura perante impacto da guerra

A Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) e a aliança de universidades europeias Transform4Europe (T4EU) realizam a primeira edição do Science Café no dia 25 de junho, às 14h30, no Auditório 3 da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, em Lisboa.

Com o mote «Pode a guerra ser reparada (pela cultura)?», a diretora do Käte Hamburger Research Centre for Cultural Practices of Reparation (CURE) da Universidade do Sarre, Christiane Solte-Gresser, e a reitora da UCP e professora catedrática de Estudos de Cultura, Isabel Capeloa Gil, vão debater o papel da cultura perante a guerra, realça uma nota enviada à Agência ECCLESIA.
