SACRU Summer School in Lisbon ended on a high note
From 1 to 14 July, Universidade Católica Portuguesa hosted the programme “A New World Order: The Way Ahead between Democracy and Authoritarian Challenges”. 16 students from 6 SACRU Universities shared unique perspectives on the future of liberal democracy in 42 hours of teaching divided into classes, tutorials, debates, and networking activities. Between Democracy and Authoritarian Challenges: Católica hosts 1st SACRU Summer School
From 1 to 14 July, 16 students from Europe, Oceania, North America and South America, will come together at Universidade Católica’s headquarters, in Lisboa, to debate Democracy and Authoritarian Challenges, showcasing the global outreach of the SACRU network and its commitment to engaging the young generation worldwide. Students from SACRU Universities debate Liberal Democracy in Lisbon
Inês, Marco, Pau, Felipe and Erica came from Lisbon, Porto, Barcelona, Santiago de Chile and Milan to debate liberal democracy in Lisbon. From different backgrounds and cultures, they gather at the Institute for Political Studies, Católica, for "intense and interesting debates, as everyone brings unique perspectives to the table". Culture, War, and Peace debated at the XIV Lisbon Summer School for the Study of Culture
The relationship between Culture and War is under debate from June 24 to 29 at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the UCP in Lisbon. Organised by the Lisbon Consortium of the Faculty of Human Sciences, it is also the first Summer School of the Transform4Europe university alliance. Read more here.

UCP hosts first Transform4Europe Outreach meeting
The Transform4Europe Alliance at UCP will host the 1st Transform4Europe Outreach Meeting, taking place at UCP Headquarters in Lisbon from the 7th to the 8th of May, 2024. This activity marks a collaborative effort among the ten European universities within the alliance to enhance outreach initiatives and foster closer international cooperation.
