The School of Nursing of the Institute of Health Sciences in Lisbon of the Universidade Católica is organising its Open Day on 3 May, from 2.30 p.m. to 6 p.m., for all high school students.

This day offers the opportunity to get to know several areas of nursing, as well as the professors and ambassadors of the school.

High school students will also have the opportunity to participate in various workshops (e.g. Basic Life Support, Newborn Care, Adult Care in a Hospital Environment), see the campus and the nursing laboratories.

Between 10 am and 1 pm and in the different campus buildings, the adoption of healthy life behaviour will be promoted, namely regarding the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, assessing blood pressure and body mass index.

The final-year class of the Degree in Nursing of the Institute of Health Sciences organizes, within the scope of the course unit "Integration into Professional Life", under the supervision of Patrícia Pontifice de Sousa and collaboration of Cristina Marques Vieira, the XII National and X International Conferences of the School of Nursing (Lisbon), whose theme is "Nursing at the Service of Humanity".

The journeys will take place on June 7, at 9am.
