Paulo Pinto de Albuquerque awarded Human Rights Prize

Paulo Pinto de Albuquerque, professor at the Faculty of Law - Lisbon School of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, will receive, on next 29th November (Tuesday), the Human Rights and Multi-Level Governance Award from the University of Padua for his enormous contribution to the defence and valorisation of human rights.

Former Judge of the European Court of Human Rights and Professor at the Faculty of Law - Lisbon School, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Paulo Pinto de Albuquerque's work has always been highly praised and recognised: in 2019, he received the title Doctor Honoris Causa from Edge Hill University; in 2020, he was awarded the medal of honour by the Portuguese Laywers Association; and in September last year he was also awarded the title Doctor Honoris Causa by the Yaroslav I National Law University, in Ukraine.

The award ceremony will take place from 11:30 am (Lisbon time) and will be broadcasted via ZOOM.
