Participate in the study "Barometer of Hope"

"What were your best experiences in 2022 and your hopes for 2023?" These are some of the questions that the "Barometer of Hope" study aims to analyze, to understand what gives the Portuguese hope for the present and the future in times of uncertainty while understanding their relationship with peace. Running until the end of November, this study incorporates a network of researchers from 14 countries on 5 continents.

The national study is being conducted in partnership between the UNESCO Chair in Education for Sustainable Global Peace (E=GPS) at the University of Lisbon and Universidade Católica Portuguesa. The research is being conducted by professors Zaida Charepe (Institute of Health Sciences and coordinator of the 'Hope2Care' project of the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Health), who joined the International Consortium of the Hope Barometer, and Helena Á. Marujo (ISCSP and CAPP-ULisboa).

The results obtained, both nationally and internationally, will allow us to envisage the (co)creation of collective solutions so that the processes of hope can collectively guide us towards a better future.

We ask the academic community and the general population to participate in this study by answering some questions available here (in Portuguese only). The data collected will be treated in a totally anonymous way and used only for scientific purposes.
