Nursing and medical students participate in the 21st Edition of the Puppet Hospital

Students from the Nursing School (Lisbon) and the Medical School, Universidade Católica Portuguesa attended the 21st Edition of the Puppet Hospital, last November 19th.

It was another day of emergency and diagnostic care for these visitors, with such peculiar characteristics. 

This event aims to promote, among children and families, the importance of health literacy, making them aware of the development of skills in health promotion and regular surveillance. On the other hand, the role-playing game that children play with their dolls, in the various health and diagnosis spaces, aims to reduce their anxiety in future situations, when they need to resort to health institutions.
