Life at Católica in Lisboa: music groups for Católica students
Students at Universidade Católica Portuguesa can take part in numerous clubs and extracurricular activities that enrich academic life at the Lisboa Campus. Among them are the traditional tunas, but not only: there is also a Big Band and a fado group.
CATÓLICA-LISBON Big Band
The Big Band of CATÓLICA-LISBON is not a traditional jazz orchestra, but rather a group with room for all kinds of instruments and ideas. Conducted by the maestro Eduardo Lála, it is comprised of students, faculty, staff and even alumni.
The idea for the Big Band came from Filipe Santos, Dean of Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. It aims to bring the academic community together in a musical experience.
