Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics launches the 5th edition of Women Entrepreneurship Award

The Center for Technological Innovation & Entrepreneurship  (CTIE), Universidade Católica, organises the Women Entrepreneurship Award for the 5th consecutive year. The initiative aims to recognise a aims to recognize a woman CEO, founder or co-founder of a company or an entrepreneur of any nationality with a project created in Portugal that stands out for its current contribution to society and its vision for the future.

The award, organised by the research centre of the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, aims to recognise entrepreneurial women who stand out for their exceptional work, in order to find 'role models" for the next generations of women entrepreneurs.

Isabel Capeloa Gil, President of Universidade Católica, is the President of the jury responsible for selecting the three finalists, as well as the winner of the grand prize. António Murta, Pathena; Céline Abecassis-Moedas, professor at CATÓLICA-LISBON and Director of CTIE; Cristina Fonseca, Indico Capital; Eduardo Piedade, Sonae IM; Gil Azevedo, Startup Lisboa; Isabel Furtado, TMG Automotive; João Vieira de Almeida, VdA; Lucy Gilson, UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics; Maria Lacerda, Imagegate; and Pedro Norton, Gulbenkian, make up the jury panel.

The 3 selected finalists will present their projects at the award ceremony on 18 May, during the Lisbon Entrepreneurship Week. The winner will receive a cash prize of 3000€ and an Executive Education programme at the Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics.
